Course Objectives: - Explore the fundamentals of Hollywood storytelling and production requirements. - Understand the role of a producer in film production. - Learn basic screenwriting techniques. - Learn budgeting, scheduling, resource management and project management. - Learn the fundamentals of film production from development to distribution. - Learn Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling the industry standard software producing software. - Produce up to 6 film projects with varying difficulty. - Build your brand and learn to engage the international film community through festivals, competitions and international grants. - Understand commercial work flow to produce corporate content. - Develop skills in pitching and marketing projects for funding, and distribution. - Gain hands-on experience using professional cameras and equipment. - Gain hands-on experience with editing software and tools. - Collaborate and network with filmmakers - Understand the Business of filmmaking.
